In 2019 Elton Hunter and Brett Fleming came together to form SPI Inspections Inc. SPI focuses on providing specialized utility system and infrastructure inspections. Our founders have over 120 years of combined experience with extensive knowledge in design, construction, operation, and inspection of utility systems.
We are Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) certified, allowing us to author thermographic reports and document hotspots on power apparatus and infrastructure. We also hold a Transport Canada Special Flight Operation Certificate (SFOC), which allows us to operate UAVs commercially anywhere in Canada. We are a full inspection, verification, and field services company. Our primary goal is delivering Quality Inspection Services, Independent Verification of construction standards (QA), Monitoring of Power Systems, and Providing Maintenance of Substation, Transmission and Distribution Apparatus and Infrastructure.
